Course Description

Industrial Pretreatment “B” Level Intermediate The intermediate industrial pretreatment course covers distinguishing between industrial user groups, the permitting process, inspection procedures, pretreatment processes, introduction to local limits, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, introduction to enforcement and data management. Required minimum qualifications for voluntary certification: 1. Must have Industrial Pretreatment "C" level certification through FIPA or FWPCOA 2. Must have accumulated 2 years of experience in industrial pretreatment 3. Must successfully complete the Industrial Pretreatment "B" course through FIPA or FWPCOA. 4. Must achieve a grade of 70% or greater on the "B" course certification exam
